Computer Meat
Designed as an extension and means of dissemination for the Computer Meat installation, this tool invites users to reshape a fragment of their digital self through fluid, bodily gestures. Interaction becomes a moment of reflection, allowing not only real-time visual transformation, but also, optionally, the export of a static image, a unique fragment of identity. Users can control three inputs: Change the font size - To adjust the font size, use your hand: bring your index finger and thumb together, then move your hand up or down. The higher you go, the smaller the text becomes; the lower, the larger it appears. Adjust horizontal spacing - To change the spacing between columns, move your wrist left or right: the further left, the more spacing; the further right, the tighter it gets. A soft way to control layout by simply moving your hand through space. Adjust vertical spacing - To alter the vertical spacing between lines, move your wrist up or down. The higher the wrist, the more generous the line spacing; the lower it is, the more compressed. Export your virtual identity!
