Self-supporting Mythological Figures

These illustrations of 14 mythological figures, inspired by the work of MILIMBO, are crafted from 2mm recycled cardboard, blending sustainability with design. The figures are first laser-cut, allowing for detailed outlines that define each character. After being cut, the figures are painted, adding color and texture to enhance their visual appearance. Once painted, the pieces are carefully assembled and mounted, transforming them into three-dimensional representations. The use of recycled cardboard not only gives the illustrations a unique, eco-friendly character but also reinforces the connection between art and environmental consciousness, offering a modern and creative interpretation of classical mythological themes.
